Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) From the medical, heath-care and sport physiological point of view, it is important to monitor in real-time vital signs from men in exercise, such as heart rate, energy expenditure and body temperature. We have developed a system which can sense vital signs from men in exercise and transmit them wirelessly to a single note PC in real-time. To evaluate the capability of the system, we have conducted field experiments where vital sensor nodes are put to 22 players during a football game and their vital data are collected at a note PC through data collection nodes. In this speech, we present the detail of the developed system, focusing on its sensing and wireless communication technologies.
