Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By advance of miniaturization of electronic devices, a ground of a printed circuit board is tend to be small and complicated and the ground may have some defects, such as connectors or clearance halls of vias. In this paper, we consider the method of the expansion of the electromagnetic field using a set of normal modes when per-unit-length mutual parameters between a microstrip line and a slot in a ground on a PCB is calculated. And, we show that this method can effectively calculate them by comparing results by the modes expansion method with results by the FDTD method. And also, we calculate the crosstalk between the microstrip lines on a ground slot using the MTL method and the calculated parameters. It is shown that the results using MTL method have some difference to the results using FDTD method.
