Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper describes the differential electromagnetic analysis (DEMA) on a cryptographic LSI and the reduction effect of information leakage by a magnetic thin film. The correlation coefficients at two points near the cryptographic IP core become large as DEMA was performed at four points on the cryptographic LSI. Each correlation coefficient at these points decreased when the magnetic thin film put on the cryptographic LSI. On the basis of these results, it was verified that the danger of the information leakage exists near the cryptographic IP core. These results demonstrate that the danger of the information leakage can be reduced markedly as the magnetic thin film puts on the cryptographic LSI. |
