Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Conventional study of per-node priority assignment for live streaming flow, for simplicity, assumed that the number of available priority classes at each priority control node is unlimited so as to accommodate each flow to each different class. However, the assumption is not suitable for real network in terms of scalability and installing cost of the priority control in the network. Therefore, in this study, we propose per-node priority assignment method for live streaming under limited number of priority classes environment. We evaluated effectiveness of the proposed method by numerical analysis and the result showed that the method can find near optimum solution under small network environment. In addition, we could guess that the method could also find near optimum solution in the large network environment.
