User Location-aware Data Pre-allocation Method for Network-based Distributed Systems

Abstract(in English) As widely spread of the high speed mobile network, the more services that enable us to share movies and/or documents with the members not only nearby but also far away are provided. In such services, the same data are transferred between members repeatedly. As a result, problems that the utilization of transit network and the response time becomes low are emerged. In order to reduce the same data that are transferred over the transit network, the in-network cache scheme are valid. Because the user moves, there are cache servers that do not have data that are required by the user. So we are studying Distributed Data Pre-push scheme that can place the data that members will request to the server in advance, so as to follow the movement of members. In this paper, we will propose the method to determine the server that placed data and show result of the processing time of our method using multiple servers.
