A study of the Routing Method by Topological Change under High-Functional Nodes Network

Abstract(in English) To improve QoS of live streaming applications, high-functional nodes which have packet-recovering functions in addition to conventional node functions have been studied. Additionally, for constructing the appropriate path under high-functional nodes network which enable to communicate under high transmission success rate in live streaming applications, the path construction method "Delay Propagation Method" was proposed. However, Delay Propagation Method has a problem that cannot construct the appropriate path under networks including a specific circuit. In this paper, we firstly proposed a new path construction method which find the appropriate path even though Delay Propagation Method cannot construct. This proposed method find the appropriate path by repetition of two processes. One of them is removing links from the Topology which is a part of circuits, and the other one is applying Delay Propagation Method. Finally, we evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. As a result, we show even if the number of repetition in the proposed method is small, it sufficiently improve transmission success rate in live streaming applications.
