Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a selection method of wireless communication method for mobile hosts that consider the communication speed and the power consumption. We decide which communication method should be used on the basis of the proposed method in terms of the communication speed and the power consumption. The selection method includes satisfaction of users, which is derived from Utility Function. Also, this paper shows the Utility Function in the several times and battery charges, and we measured the communication speed and the power consumption of the Android smart phone when use several wireless communication methods. We confirm the changes of the better communication methods depending on the time and battery charge and show efficiency of the proposed method.
