Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rapid increase in mobile traffic due to the spread of smartphones has caused the frequency shortage. And also, since frequency of 400MHz to 6GHz has been allocated in various wireless systems in Japan, there is no room to allocate a frequency to a new wireless system. White space technology has been a focus of attention as a technology to solve this problem. The authors have proposed a broadband spectrum sensing system for a white space system. Our system covers a frequency range of from 400MHz to 6GHz. In addition, we designed it to be able to detect signals with low receiving level (-114dBm/6MHz) which was ruled by FCC. We developed a prototype of our proposed system and evaluated its performance with TV signals.
