Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Received signal power is drastically faded due to severe shadowing by human in 60GHz WLAN(Wireless LAN) and throughput performance is degraded. In order to improve transmission performance of 60GHz WLAN, ARQ (Automatic Repeat request), diversity, adaptive directional beam antenna and Fast Session Transfer (FST) are proposed as a countermeasure against shadowing. For performance improvement evaluation of these countermeasures, it is necessary to clarify the frequency and time characteristics of shadowing by moving human body. This report shows experimental results of frequency and time characteristics of shadowing caused by moving human body, and they are compared with the calculated results using a ray-tracing method. |
