Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel congestion control scheme for smartphone that tethers stations and connects them to Wi-Fi spot. By applying Receiving-Opportunity Control (ROC), which was invented as a Quality of Service (QoS) control scheme for Wireless LAN communication, to stations, the proposed scheme can reduce the amount of buffer overflow in smartphones. This paper analyzes the appropriate probability according to the number of stations connected to a smartphone. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves improvement in the end-to-end, an Access Point (AP) to end stations, throughput.
