Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When a wide-scale disaster hits in urban areas, there is a serious problem to solve how to plan quick evacuation for evacuees to guide to refuge in order to suppress the confusion of evacuees. In recent years, we have proposed a method for disaster evacuation guidance using opportunistic communication. By simulating this evacuation method using our mathematical model, we have evaluated the performance and showed that our proposed evacuation can shorten the evacuation time, and also contribute to effective disaster information aggregation at refuges. In the evaluation, however, we have an assumption that all evacuees follow the guidance. In this paper, we consider the situation that only some percentage of evacuees can follow the evacuation. evacuees that follow the guidance form a small group which is able to absorb evacuees around to follow them, which is called follow-me guidance. To simulate the situation, we propose majority voting mobility model to model evacuees who do not follow the guidance, but they follow to go the direction that the majority of near evacuees go. We evaluate the performance of the self-organized follow-me guidance. As a result, we find that a certain number of leader can absorb the other follower by the follow-me guidance, which consequently shorten the evacuation time and increase the number of evacuees arrived at refuge. Consequently, it is expected that disaster evacuation guidance by smartphone application plus follow-me evacuation guidance can improve the performance of the evacuation guidance.
