Logical analysis of the entrainment of the cell cycle by the circadian clock

Abstract(in English) The cell division cycle and the circadian clock are two major cellular rhythms in many kinds of organisms. The cell cycle is entrained by the circadian clock, as modeled by Gerard and Goldbetter (2012) [1]. To further our understanding of this coupled system, we wish to analyze the role and functionality of the regulatory circuits composing the underlying network. Using the software GINsim, we adapted the Gerard-Golbeter model into the logical formalism. Here we compare our model's behavior with the original model and experimental data, before proceeding with an analysis of circuit functionality.
