A CPN Tools Based Method of Solving Multi-Car Multi-Shaft Elevator Design Problem and Its Consideration

Abstract(in English) A large building has many elevators. It is more important to study elevator design problem. The transportation capability improves when the number of shaft increases. However, the setting area of the elevator system becomes large. If we use multi-car elevator, we can decrease the setting area. But the precedent study intends for a single-shaft. We proposed multi-car multi-shaft elevator design problem and a solution method using CPN Tools. We showed that our method can decides an elevator system suitable or various requirements.
