Abstract(in English) In recent years, rapid diffusion of high-performance smart phones and digital cameras with built-in wifi capabilities have brought significant increase of the opportunities to take a large amount of photos and use so-called photo cloud services to share them online easily. However, there are users who hesitate to use those services positively, because it is sometimes very stressful to view shared photos passively especially when they don't contain attractive objects for viewers. Therefore, our research focuses on photo viewers and we propose a future slideshow service which enhances the viewers' satisfaction by the following two functions: a) utilization of users' lifelogs and future schedule information, b) estimation of users' latent preferences by analyzing the collected vital reactions. This paper focuses on b) and describes how to estimate users' latent preferences for a photo based on the change of pupil diameter and the classified eye-gaze patterns in order to utilize them for potential attractive photo selections.
