Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Current OpenFlow specification apply TLS to establish mutual authentication between a controller and a switch, as optional. If we want to use TLS in OpenFlow network, we have to manage public key certificates especially client (switch) side certificates which cost of operation is high. In this paper, based on the thinking of high affinity between Identity-based Encryption (IBE) and OpenFlow Devices which already have own ID, the methods of applying IBE to mutual authentication in OpenFlow devices are proposed.
