Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Secure multi-party computation (MPC) allows a set of parties to evaluate a function while keeping the input data private. This technique is quite useful for realizing privacy-preserving data analysis; however, large computational cost has been an obstacle for practical use. Recent advances in efficient algorithms and techniques significantly improved the performance of MPC systems, and MPC for small data has been practical. On the other hand, more and more data has been collected with the growth of information technology, and it is important to develop scalable systems and algorithms for MPC. We developed and evaluated a distributed MPC system that can handle parties consisting of multiple computers and networks.
