Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, OpenFlow has attracted attention as a leading SDN implementation method in network industries. OpenFlow enables to define virtual networks having various packet transfer rules which cannot be achieved by traditional routing method. On the other hand, when a connectivity and route check is performed during operation and monitoring of the OpenFlow-based virtual networks, the conventional functions that support a single transfer rule cannot complete the requested operation. As a result, the operator hardly guarantees the network quality. This study provides the result of consideration about performing connectivity check and route confirmation regarding arbitrary flow entry between selected OpenFlow Switches.
