Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many applications based on peer-to-peer (P2P) network model have been used recently. P2P applications include file sharing systems and voice communication systems. Clustering is performed to search peers efficiently by limiting bounds for peers or contents search. However, network distance is not always considered when clusters are constructed. In this report, we showed details and results of experiments on a testbed, which is constructed in real networks, by using a prototype system that has clustering function based on network distance. From results of experiments, we have confirmed that clustering based on network distance was performed mostly by monitoring communication among peers.
