Abstract(in English) Recently, the requirement of wireless communication is increasing dramatically. Heterogeneous network which includes cellular networks and wireless local area network (WLAN) is a solution to the problem. In the area of cellular networks with high user density, WLAN system is used to migrate data traffic. Unfortunately, the media access control protocol in WLAN, carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance (CSMA/CA), would lead to a low throughput for some mobile terminals (MTs) when the MTs are in noisy condition. Because these MTs have larger size of contention window than other MTs. In this paper, an improved control scheme with separated control channel for WLAN is proposed. In this way throughput of MT in noisy condition can be improved.
