White Space Database with Radio Propagation Simulator Considering Terrestrial Topology

Abstract(in English) In the case of white space communications, a database which communicate with white space devices make a decision whether a secondary user can use white space or not. Currently the database decides on the separation distance bases between the secondary user and the nearest service-area edge of primary user, not on interference level derived from radio propagation simulator. We developed a white space database combined with a radio propagation simulator having high-speed calculation ability. Using the new database, answer-back time to secondary users and comparison of white space with/without simulator are estimated. Also we developed an AR application for smart-phone using simulation function of the database.
