Abstract(in English) Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer systems, which configure optical paths without optical to electronic to optical conversion, are introduced to optical network. Wavelength selective switches are key sub-systems to compose the systems. Higher-port-counts and flexible-grid functions are demanded to realize more flexible optical networks. In this paper, we report the insertion loss, spectrum and crosstalk of a flexible-grid 1x30 wavelength selective switch.
