Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless sensor actuator networks (WSANs) has radio sensor actuator nodes, which have a function of control on wireless sensor networks (WSN), is a promising framework of various services, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M). To support various services, high response and power-saving technologies are essential for radio sensor actuator node. Therefore, the Radio-On-Demand (ROD) technology for WLAN proposed in our previous works is applied to WSAN in order to achieve not only high response but also power-saving. In this paper, we propose a new channel selection scheme in which the averaged transmission interval of each channel is employed as a criterion of channel selection. This scheme works with a collaboration of a function of wake-up receiver in ROD-SAN, thereby improving the perfomance drastically.
