| Abstract(in English) | In the Present world various information is exchanged in many languages. As a natural result of it, we must use the information processing via translation. Of course the majority of the business persons are acquiring the highly polished many-language proficiency. Considering such a lively situation, how should we understand translation and utilize machine translation? In this brief paper, I would like to present my naive intuition on semantics of sentence and text, exact translation, accurate information transfer by translation, impossibility of translation, natural translation, grammar-based machine translation, statistics-based machine translation, practical usage of machine translation. Hopefully my today's talk could give some clues for the attendee of TL research conference to inquire into "human translation and machine translation". |
