Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, I describe an ideal method of communication in educational contexts based on the conceptualization of language/parole postulated by the French philosopher Merleau-Ponty. There are two aspects of language that are relevant to this topic, understanding language and producing language. Merleau-Ponty attached greater importance to the latter, which involves bodily movements. I will argue that teachers should be careful about new meanings that emerge when children produce language with such physical actions.
