Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Self-monitoring that records and evaluates user's behavior is well known as behavior improvement voluntary for fine health. Recently, user can easily record the weight and calorie consumption by using scales and pedometer which have a wireless network. However, it is difficult to continuously record calorie intake which is one of recording information for self-monitoring because user's eating behavior should be recorded by oneself. The purpose of this study is to reduce the burden on the food record by support of food recording based on eating behavior estimation for continuous self-monitoring. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed system, we conduct a user study for confirming diet trend whether appearing in eating behavior by collecting dietary information. Experiments shows that the burden of food recording is reduce by using proposed estimated system.
