Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a target positioning and tracking method using asynchronous TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) measurements in WAM(Wide Area Multilateration) system, which provides accurate surveillance of airspace. A conventional method, target localization through TDOA measurements cannot estimate target position when the number of TDOA measurements is not enough for localization at the same time. Our method uses TDOA measurements at the different time to compute the position and velocity estimates. Through verification based on TDOA measurements under real environment, the validity of our method is examined. As a result, our method shows better performance than the conventional method with respect to positioning and tracking.
