Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to understand Japanese business documents, we have to recognize the social relationships among the agents and objects that are described in the documents. In this paper, we propose a scheme to annotate Japanese politeness expressions to show the semantic representation in which the agent or object should be understood for the reader. And we show a perspective of NLP applications based on the analysis of the annotated document with our scheme.
