Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report a method for extracting cracks from outcrop pictures, in which stratum appear. A stratum consists of parallel multi layers, each of which includes uniform particle diameter stones or components. On the other hand, a crack is straight and alone, is not parallel to other edge lines between layers. According to this idea, we apply a texture clustering method based on multi resolution analysis by using Wavelet transfer, and show experimental results.
