Abstract(in English) Software-defined networking (SDN) technology such as OpenFlow to enable flow-level traffic engineering has received a lot of attention in recent years Such techniques enable fine-grained flow control which has been difficult with existing networking technology. It is important to set an appropriate flow control granularity satisfying requirements for traffic engineering, such as the flow size, the size of flow table and the stability of traffic variation. In this paper, I propose a hierarchical flow table architecture and flow aggregation algorithm to set flow granularity satisfying these requirements. Through a simulation evaluation, We show the effectiveness of the traffic engineering using the control flow generated with proposed methods.
