Abstract(in English) We investigated multi-core fiber connector which can realize precise positioning accuracy of ferrule toward adapter by utilizing a ferrule with a V-groove and a split sleeve with a pin. Simultaneously this connector maintained floating structure of conventional connector. Also the connector can eliminate the influence of positioning accuracy of ferrule toward plug housing effectively. We achieved a splice loss of less than 0.5 dB for multi-core fiber with core distance of 80 μm from fiber center.
