Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report begins with maximizing the power transfer efficiency of general IPT systems via image impedance matching, and proves that the resonances are necessary at both the transmitting port and the receiving port independently of the mutual coupling, which is useful in adaptive impedance matching. Then, an asymmetric T-R coils system consisting of two coils of different sizes is designed, and the results of the experiment and the simmulation are shown. It is found that the power transfer keeps almost constant efficiency for wide area of two coils positioning. Finally, a system consisting of plural smaller receiving coils and one larger transmitting coil is designed. and the simmulation results are shown. It is found that optimum receiver port impedance is increased, and that the source's power is transferred evenly and efficiently to the plural receivers.
