Abstract(in English) A novel digital signal processing scheme is proposed for self-homodyne detection using a polarization-diversity intradyne detection front-end. We experimentally demonstrate modulation-format insensitive operation by detecting QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM signals. We also evaluate the system performance under strong fiber nonlinearity, showing a 3.5dB improvement in resilience to self-phase modulation.
