Abstract(in English) Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) transmission technology is expected as a promising candidate for optical and radio seamless communication systems. As a new application of the RoF technology, we study an optical and wireless disaster recovery system where plural optical link failures can be restored by pre-installed wireless back-up links. In this system, a self-healing functionality is required for detecting optical fiber failures and autonomously switching to the back-up links. In this paper, a self-healing technique utilizing an injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser is proposed.
