Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss biased a priori SNR estimation for musical-noise-free speech enhancement based on minimum mean square-error short-time spectral amplitude (MMSE-STSA) estimator. Recently, musical-noise-free speech enhancement has been proposed, where no musical noise is generated even for a high SNR. Also, we have clarified that the MMSE-STSA estimator with biased a posteriori SNR holds musical-noise-free condition. In this study, we provide a new biased a priori SNR estimation algorithm for musical-noise-free speech enhancement.
