Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we examine an automatic parameter adjustment method for audio equalizers using interactive genetic algorithm (IGA). It is very difficult for ordinary users who are not familiar with audio devices to appropriately adjust some parameters of audio equalizers. We have already studied an automatic parameter adjustment method for audio equalizers based on user's evaluation. In this method, the gain and sharpness of the peaking filters which are used for audio equalizers are automatically adjusted based on the user's evaluation. In this paper, we examine that the elite section is effective for users through some subjective tests and evaluation time. |
