Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we analyze characteristics of wind-induced noise to reduce itself. We record wind-induced noises using a 2-channel microphone array in different conditions of wind speed, direction and microphone distance as parameters. The measures of analyzing are spectrogram, amplitude difference, phase difference, group delay and coherence functions for complex, amplitude and power. As a result, the correlation between 2 channels was low because of big changes of amplitude and phase difference. The value of complex coherence function was 0.8 at the peak of frequency less than 125 Hz, and less than 0.2 between 125 Hz and 1kHz. On the other hand, the values of amplitude and power coherence functions was more than 0.4 for the major frequency band of the wind-induced noise less than 250Hz. This results show that spectrum subtraction is valid for wind-induced noises.
