Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM signal with larger PAPR would cause the fatal degradation of BER performance due to the non-linear distortion occurring in the non-linear amplifier located at the transmitter. To solve this problem, we have proposed the improved DAR (IDAR) method which can achieve better BER performance even when the OFDM signal is operated at the near saturated region of non-linear amplifier. However the previous proposed IDAR method was assumed that the input-output relationships of non-linear amplifier located at the transmitter are known at the receiver. In this paper, we propose an estimation method for the input-output relationships of non-linear amplifier by using two preamble symbols which are required to realize the actual hardware of IDAR method. This paper presents various computer simulation results to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed IDAR method with the non-linear amplifier estimation method.
