| 抄録(和) | 時間遅延された相互結合半導体レーザの低周波不規則振動状態における同期への過渡ダイナミクスを,伝搬時間に相当する時系列の相互相関とレーザの平衡点の定常解解析を用いて調査した.2つのレーザが平衡点を変遷する過程で同期と非同期を繰り返し,同期過程で先行振動するレーザが時間的に入れ替わることが分かった.またレーザの平衡点の分布の変化から,レーザの光周波数が先行振動するレーザを決定するメカニズムを明らかにした. |
| 抄録(英) | We investigate transient dynamics of synchronized low frequency fluctuations (LFFs) in mutually coupled semiconductor lasers. We observe repeated spontaneous switching of leader-laggard relationship in two lasers. We found that the relationship between the optical frequencies of the two lasers decides the leader laser with sudden intensity dropouts of LFFs. We explain this phenomenon by using an analysis of steady state solutions in the Lang-Kobayashi equations that describe the dynamics of semiconductor lasers. We found that the optical frequency of the leader laser attracts the optical frequency of the laggard laser while the trajectories of the two lasers wander many steady state solutions, and spontaneouts switching of leader-laggard relationship occurs. We also found that sudden intensity dropouts occur at the maximum gain mode obtained from the analysis of steady state solutions in a solitary laser with optical feedback. |
