Abstract(in English) | Elastic Optical Network, which enhances spectrum efficiency by introducing flexibility and adaptivity in the optical layer, has been widely studied for adapting continuous traffic increase. This work considers IP over elastic optical networks based on multi-flow transponder and studies the possibility of IP traffic offloading by comparing other network architectures. In addition, the effect of network equipment savings and applicability of multi-flow transponder-based optical node structure are also studied. |
