Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report on an application of dielectric/metal/dielectric (DMD) structure as a transparent electrode for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Sheet resistance of less than 10 Ω/sq. and transmittance over 70% were obtained using MoO_3/Ag/MoO_3 structure, where, MoO_3 and Ag were used as a dielectric and a metal material, respectively. Bright emission of 8,600 cd/m^2 (@500cd/m^2) was obtained and this value was similar to that of ITO anode OLED device. Therefore, DMD electrode is effective for higher hole injection by evaluating its ability using hole only device.
