Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CuAlS_2:Mn phosphor thin films have been prepared by electron-beam (EB) evaporation method. The films are well crystallized at 600 ℃, and show a strong orange photoluminescence. The film also has a good conductivity of about 1 Ω cm. The crystallinity and PL intensity are further improved by doping Si, which is thought to acts as relaxation of lattice distortion and charge compensation. The cathodeluminescence properties have been measured, and a luminance of 280 cd/m^2 and an efficiency of 0.5 lm/W are obtained at acceleration voltage of 6 kV and current density of 30 μC/cm^2.
