Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a novel beam steering microstrip array antenna integrating two variable gain amplifiers is experimentally evaluated. The proposed antenna can change its beam direction by controlling two orthogonal input signals. Two orthogonal feed circuits using a magic-T and a variable gain amplifier are used to control the amplitude ratio of two input signals. Beam steering function similar to the results of numerical analysis was obtained.
