Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In trajectory based operations, the accurate ground-based prediction of aircraft trajectories is important for the air traffic flow management, the medium-term conflict detection and the time-based metering. The accurate predictions enable the use of fuel efficient and conflict-free trajectories. To attain the prediction, operating flight speed model is used. BADA speed model is one of the most useful tools for this purpose, but the model does not take account of the difference of seasons, regions and states. This paper discusses the flight speed model derived from the Ground Radar Data. These results are compared to the BADA model and flight data recordings.
