Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Values of performance parameters are used to evaluate operational performance and operational safety of air traffic control and airborne surveillance applications. It is required to validate the statistical parameters which are representing the reliability of surveillance information such as integrity. When the validation is conducted by repeating measurements, the trial count of measurements should be chosen by referring the critical value of integrity. If the required trial count is not practical to conduct the measurement within the lifetime of surveillance system, a conversion method from detection probability and false detection probability at target detection process to integrity at surveillance system output may become another option. In this paper, the trial count for each method is evaluated with statistical method and is compared with each other.
