Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the advancement of the sensor and communication technologies, the radar is no longer the only technology for the surveillance of air traffic. Nowadays, as a new surveillance system, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) has been given the operation and provide the services. To construct the hybrid surveillance system for high assurance, it is necessary to achieve registration between the radar measurements and ADS-B data. However, in most proposed registration algorithms, how to synchronize the ADS-B positions with radar positions is not discussed by considering the practical application. In this paper, an ADS-B based radar registration technology in the Earth Centered Earth Fixed (ECEF) coordinate system is presented by considering the synchronization problem. Moreover, the efficiency of proposed method is shown by the practical experiments.
