Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The commercial concrete radar can confirm the existence of rebar in the concrete structure easily. But, it is so difficult to accurately estimate the concrete cover thickness and the radius of rebar. In this paper, the real time method to estimate the concrete cover thickness and the radius of rebar is discussed using data measured by the concrete radar. Because the shape of an electromagnetic wave pulse radiated by the concrete radar is not necessarily constant, we suggest empirical technique to improve precision of the rebar exploration from many estimated results.
