Abstract(in English) In a linear array of transverse slots on a hollow rectangular waveguide, the radiating slots are alternately fed by two rectangular waveguides placed at their sides. The element spacing becomes about a half guided wavelength, which is shorter than a free-space wavelength, so that no cross-polarization is radiated in any directions. The authors have designed a 16-element beam tilt array by adjusting the slot spacing at 125 GHz to control the main-beam direction of a high-gain two-dimension array. The excitation amplitude deviation is within 1 dB except the matching radiating slots and the bandwidth for the reflection less than -14 dB (VSWR≤1.5) is 13.4%.
