Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In HMIPv6 (Hierarchical Mobile IPv6), MAP (Mobility Anchor Point) is placed at the boundary between the internal and external networks to hide the mobility of terminals in the MAP domain. However, the load to manage all terminals is concentrated to the MAP. In order to solve this problem, the hierarchical MAP methods have been proposed, but the previous MAP selection schemes have several problems. This paper proposes a new MAP selection scheme based on the handover time of mobile terminals. The simulation experiments evaluate the MAP registration rates and the handover time beyond MAP domain to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
