Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the multipath transfer techniques are focused to use multiple links as one link. However, when these links have different delay and bandwidth from each other, for example, a mobile telephone network and WiFi are used for the links, the replacement of the packet transmission order might be occurred. In this case, in especially to TCP, the congestion control causes packet retransmission, which degrades the throughput. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a packet transmission path selection method for MPTCP based on a result from the bandwidth estimation of each subflow from RTT and the queue waiting time. The simulate results show that the proposed method improves the average throughput from MPTCP.
