Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Structure-from-motion (SFM) is a significant issue of 3D reconstruction for many applications. However, some image collector like endoscopy only provides a narrow view angle and 2D structures of the internal organs. In order to expand the view angle and describe the details of 3D structures, we propose an approach to reconstruct 3D surface based on image stitching from a video sequence. There are four major steps of the proposed method: 3D reconstruction, 3D point cloud stitching, dense point cloud generation and Poisson surface reconstruction. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a satisfied accuracy and efficiency for 3D reconstruction, and promise a large view angle.
